I have always wanted to go to Venice. My imagination existed of water and houses. I thought you had to go by boat everywhere. To the grocery store, to buy clothes and to get away from the city. For anyone who believes the same; I'm sorry to tell you it's not the truth. It's still very pretty though. We walked without a sense of direction so we have seen so many little streets, with sometimes only a couple locals in it. It's a pity the gondolas were so expensive, because I think a ride during sunset would have been perfect. The normal tourist boats were extremely crowded, so I was happy to walk instead of standing there with so many people.

To close the day off we ate a self made salad and I came to the realization that it ain't actually possible to make the pictures that Instagram influencers and travel bloggers make. You can make pictures, but it will never appear the same as the posted picture. You have to do a lot of editing and put more effort in it than I expected. Oh and besides that, I came to the conclusion that I truly like nature better than cities. After a week of traveling to different cities, I can definitely recognize my happiness when I see a Seagull. So tomorrow we're going to the Dolomites and I'm really excited (again)!
